Open macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording, and enable the toggle for EiSen.

EiSen sits silently in your menu bar. Double-tap Option (⌥⌥) anywhere to take your first capture!
💡 Tip: If you grant permission while EiSen is open, simply quit from the menu bar and relaunch EiSen once.
